Enclosed is a sample web site. This was created with visual studio using visual [login to view URL] and must remain in that. There is a problem. I am using the customvalidator control however; its not working quite right. I want it where if somebody enters 1 for the textbox and click the button; then the text below will say successful. Otherwise; successful needs to be hidden. The problem is even if it fails; it still processes the click. It may show the error message but it still submitted the form (even though it failed). This must still use the customvalidator because there is a real situation where it needs to use that. Javascript is not allowed (because I don't know javascript anyways). Besides; the validation I will be doing will come from data from the server. Also; no ajax either.
