We need collisiondetection with heightmaps. The project must be done in c++ using a math library that we supplies. To complete this project the following assignments must be completed. A class for storing a height map must be implemented. This class must also support storage of friction and restitution coefficient for each grid point. The height map must support holes. Moreover it should be possible to select the precision that you store height values with together with restituition and friction. Therefore the height map class probably must take template arguments Then following routines for collision detection must be completed: HeightMap - box Heightmap - cylinder Heightmap - GeometryCollection(fixed collection of primitives) Heightmap - distmap Heightmap - convex polygon We will supply the classes describing the primitives. We will supply the code for distance maps For collision detection the following outputs are necessary: Contact point, contact normal, penetration, restituition and friction. Also the height map must support raycasting and should be able to supply a contact point given a line that intersects the height map. The code must be wellcommented and written with emphasis on performance. We have to agree on the interfaces, as the code must be fitted into a larger framework.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
