I need a mechanism for my Macromedia Director 2004 application (projector) to stream media from local encrypted files.
Decryption speed and low cpu usage is critical - the encryption can be very basic, as long as it is fast. The decryption needs to be real-time, starting to play the media before file is fully loaded and decrypted. Media types should include all types built into Director.
There are probably a number of ways to do this, so please very specifically describe how you can accomplish this. I am open to solutions using c/c++/delphi/c#.
