What I need is a dll created to add to string without simply using the statement (string=string & info)
the dll should have the following functions/methods
1. ClearString (this should change the value of the string to "" blank). method
2. AddToString (info, optional delimiter) (this should add content to the string but do not use the string=string & info because that method is too slow).
here are a few samples here
if delimiter is ", ", newinfo is "hello", and the original string is "", then the results of this would be "hello". the , is ignored because there was nothing in the string. however, if the original string was "bob" then the final results from this would be "bob, hello" if nothing is filled in for delimiter, then it would be blank this is a method
3. GetInfo this is a function that will return the string
for example, if addtostring was used twice. the first time it was "bob", ", " and the second time, it was "test", ", " then the final results would be "bob, test"
This can be done in either VB.net or C++.net. cannot have any overloading (where 2 methods or functions appear with the same name but different parameters). Also, must be a .net assembly with no references to COM at all.
## Deliverables
The compiled dll and the source code for the dll. Must be callable from VB.net 2005 and Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition.
## Platform
Windows XP Home Edition.
