I am building a site that displays a customized news feed to a user upon log-in. WHAT I PROVIDE YOU: 1. PHP RSS parser. 2. MYSQL tables that store the user's RSS feed choices corresponding with their RSS links. 3. a spider script to grab the meta tags and text of any URL for preview display in white box.

I WOULD LIKE YOU TO: 1. Emulate [url removed, login to view] If you go to [url removed, login to view], do a search on any keyword, you'll see their search results page. On this page, the user can scroll down and page down the rows of the search results table. A selected row is highlighted. When the user clicks on a row, he sees a preview of the link on the right hand corner. What I would like is the same [url removed, login to view] functionality, except that there is only page down/page up and mouse scrolls AT THE WEBPAGE LEVEL- NO mouse scrolls at the table level like you see on Snap.com. I think the table scroll is tacky, and users like to see the entire web page scroll down, rather than a table scroll down. 2. Each table row will have the 3 small icon buttons, thumbnail image, and title of a RSS feed, and when a user clicks on the table row, it will make AJAX calls to immediately display a preview of both the title and either partial or full article text (depending on the RSS provider) in a pretty white display box like you see in Snap.com. 3. This white display box should follow the user as he page scrolls down. An example of a box following you is at this [url removed, login to view] link: [url removed, login to view] (Notice the map follows you when you're looking at a listing at the bottom of a web page), *The box, although doesn't have an absolute position, it should follow the user downward on a specific X coordinate and should not change its size. 4. Show me where to put my CSS code to design the elements of your AJAX functionality. [url removed, login to view]
