Access DB form modifications

Create a number of basic “build events?? (functions, subroutines) to be used in MS Access 97 forms. Access 97 is being used as a desktop app, not on the web. You will create the code behind the commands that will be called from controls on various forms. They will perform very simple tasks, primarily printing labels. You may have to create the associated reports for the labels. See detail for a list of the functions you will write. ## Deliverables Return the modified database. You will also include a text document describing the changes you made so that we can make the same changes to our other databases that have the same form. All of the labels listed below will print all the records displayed by a filtered form. In the enclosed database, the form is called Form1 and the controls with commands that will call your functions will be in the form or the form header. Print 1?? x 3.5?? labels continuous feed: This will print all the records displayed by a filtered form. The printer driver to use is an Epson FX-1050. The labels are continuous feed 3.5?? wide by 1?? high (excluding the pin-feed edge). Use the resident printer font (not a true type font) Roman 12 cpi at 6 lines per inch. If a line in the report is blank, the lines below will be moved up so there will not be any blank lines on the label. Here is the layout for the label (see attached database for field, data, and variable names). Name Company Address Address2 City, State Zip Print 3?? x 4?? labels continuous feed: This is the same as the 1?? by 3.5?? labels above but the label size is 3?? vertical by 4?? horizontal. The printable area requires a top margin of 1 5/8?? and left, right, and bottom margins of 1/4??. Print 3?? x 4?? labels, 5 to a page, page printer. This is the same as the above, but the labels will be loaded into a laser printer. The labels will be the same as the 3x4 labels above but will have 5 labels on a sheet, one column wide. There is no top or bottom margin before the first label on the page, so the total page size is 15??. If this does not work with the print driver, then you can program this for 4 labels to a page for a total page length of 12??. If necessary you can assume it is being fed into an HP LaserJet 4 plus. The application will prompt the user to ask how many labels are on the first page (in case it is not a full sheet of 5 (or 4) labels). The font can be Times New Roman 12. Print Avery 5160 labels (page printer). This will be the same layout as the 1??x 3.5?? above except the labels are on a sheet and fed through a page printer (assume HP Laserjet 4 Plus). The font can be Arial or MS Sans Serif 10 pt. Would like the application to prompt the user to ask which label to start printing with on the first page in case it’s starting with a page that has already been partially used. The label size is 1?? x 2 5/8??, three columns (Avery 5160). I will need Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Win 98, Win 2000
