A 68000 assembly launguage password encryption program is required.
The program should be able to:
1. Promt the user for a user name
2. Encrypt the entered password and compare it to a stored, encryped copy of the password, checking the user name owns the password
3. After password is authenticated the user should be prompted to run program or add an additional user.
4. If the user selects run program there should be a text output saying "Program is initialising"
Or
If the user selects add another user the program should promt them for the new user name and password, encrypting the password.
There should also be a menu option to change passwords
passwords should be 12 charicters long. Encoding will take place as follows
a. the 12 char's (96 bit) are split in two (48 bit) the two parts are anded together.
b. the result is then split in two and each half is anded together producing a 24 bit output
c. the 24 bit is then split in two and both halfs are anded together producing a 12 bit code. The 12 bit code is compared against the stored code.
_Documentation_
Every line must have a descripton of the code in that line.
there should be an algoritm describing the flow of the code.
Extra may be paid if the same program can also be written in C++ - this will be discussed with the bid winner, and a seperate bid request will be set up.
the program must use the stack and subroutines
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
The program must be writen in assembly.
The program will be run on the motorola 68000 board so coding should reflect this as required.
