art inventory database

I need an inventory database for my retail art store. The database needs to include several fields that can be searched and sorted. I would also like to be able to generate bar code numbers and print lables for each individual inventory item. Most importantly I need to be able to include JPG images for each inventory item. The databasae needs to allow me to search and sort on each field and print JPG "proof" sheets according to selected criteria. For instance, I would like to be able to print all of the JPGs of the paintings I've sold over a certain period of time. Or, print all the JPGs of a certain size or style of painting. The importing of JPGs needs to be quick and efficient. I am currently setting up a camera table with a Canon A520 camera that will allow me to operate the camera directly from my computer. Ideally I should be able to create a record and barcode label at the same time I take the picture. This is basically a very simple database with barcode and JPG features.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
