Branded HTML Windows Media Player

Player for radio station live stream. Currently we trigger our WMP stream with a .wvx file that opens WMP, plays a brief audio intro file, then plays a :30 TV spot, then brings up the audio of the radio station, and displays HTML with logo/banner and links during stream within the player. Here is example: <[login to view URL]> We're looking for a visually attractive and better branded way to do this, and also display dynamically display "now playing" info and a "buy now" link within the player. This metadata (song, artist, buy cd URL) would be accessed from a constantly changing text file on the server. Maybe use a small flash movie to do this, making sure to do cachebusting in the actionscript? Open to suggestions. This could be a small popup HTML "player" with embedded WMP, or some fancy customization of the standalone WMP player. Main problem we have with embedded WMP approach is that it is frustrated by popup blockers. Open to suggestions on this issue. Must be visually attractive, consistent with look and feel of main website at KDFC.com. Would like to include a 468x60 advertiser banner and link. Note: we will not always have an opening video or animation. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 98+, recent Mac.
