I'd like to create a demo of a Data Center dashboard which uses tree maps to convey relative health of the systems within the data center. This demo should work with the latest version of both Internet Explorer and Firefox. This demo should read a CSV file that contains resource names and relative health and then be able to drive the tree map. Within the tree map a blocks size is relative to its health with less healthy systems shown in larger blocks. The CSV file will contain a days worth of data that is updated on an hourly basis. The demo should have the capability to run in time compressed mode so that a day can be run in 5 minutes. Clicking on a block in the tree map will bring you to a page that shows some details about that resource. Hovering over a block should display summary information about that resource. A search capability is needed to find a particular resource within the map. A good example of tree maps can be found at [login to view URL] Flare also supports tree maps [login to view URL] The demo can use Java, Javascript, Flash, or any other technology agreed upon by the two parties.
