Build a customer presentation viewing area on my website w/ option to order the product

We are looking to have an area of our site developed that we can have customers log into with individual username/passwords that we assign them through an administration area.
To make this short, we sell custom frameless shower doors. So we go to someone's house, measure, and briefly explain what the product and installation entails. We currently email them a PDF with some pictures of the hardware and usually some pictures of other installations that somewhat match what their final product will look like. (I'll attach one that we used previously to give you an idea)
We want to replace emailing a PDF with emailing them a username/password to login to the site and view a generated page complete with all the same things, pictures of hardware, sample photos, prices, etc.
The consumer site would also:
- Track when they log in so we can follow up if necessary
- Have an option for them to click on "leave a deposit" which then would allow them to use a credit card
The administration back end would allow us to login and:
- Add a new user/pass with their email address, phone number, and other contact information
- Have a general "add hardware" section that we can go into for each piece of hardware, upload photos of it, and a description of it
- Add a "project" under their account, sometimes the customers want us to price things more than one way so separate projects would be necessary
- Go into a user's project and click on the hardware that will go with that installation
- Allow us to upload a drawing/sketch of the project
- Click on an area in the user's project to "send this project" which would email them with a link to the project and their login information
Our site is hosted on a [login to view URL] linux shared server with access to mysql databases. Would prefer the site be built primarily with php, mysql, and javascript where necessary.
If this tool turns out to be a successful way of helping sell to our customers it will become an on going project that will continue to be developed into the other areas of our business. However right now we are just interested in sticking with trying to make it work for shower doors.
