I am looking for someone to help me create a basic priority queue in Java. The PQ has to take an event (of type Object) and a time (double) which is an integer value to represent a time in the future, eg. 9.0. The PQ must have the following methods: [login to view URL] (add an event/time to the queue) [login to view URL] (remove the event with the lowest time and return it) [login to view URL] (delete an event from the PQ) [login to view URL] (alter the predicted time on an object) [login to view URL] (this returns the current simulated time. i.e. it is initially 0.0 and changes to the time of the last item 'removed' from the queue. (say the item is {"Richard", "9.0") after removing the event the current time is 9.0. Also desired (but not required as I can do it myself) is a junit test class to run tests on all of these methods. To reiterate, what I am looking for is a program that has all of these methods and works, but does not have a user interface...it merely needs to have associated junit tests to make sure it works as predicted. It's an easy project, but I'm really hungover so could do with some help. I'll check the bid requests in an hour and go from there - It's as simple as it sounds so I need the most basic implementation possible (XP programming practices...) and I need it pretty fast! Happy bidding.
