Creating Promotional Code Module

Hi

We want to create a Promotion Code module for our eCommerce site which has been built in PHP and My SQL.

We want to provision to be able to generate Promocode, create their validity, assign discount margins to the promo codes .

We should also be able to keep the information and generate reports of all the users who have entered their promo code and shopped.

We would want it integrated to our website so that a customer can use the promo code to avail discounts.

Please share your proposal along with flow and timelines in this regards
