AJAX/DHTML/PHP upgrades to events site

You will be required to undertake a number of 'web 2.0' type improvements to a dynamic events site. This involves both client (JavaScript/DHTML/AJAX) and server (PHP/MySQL) side work. To bid on this work you MUST include URLs to examples of prior AJAX/DHTML work. Note that this project needs to be completed ASAP so you should be able to fully focus on this. Required functionality: - Lightbox view for images pulled from the database, including a full view (one large image with previous/next), gallery view (multiple images in a grid), and a slideshow view (probably Flash using [login to view URL] if possible to configure via dynamic XML config file with a list of relevant images from the db). - AJAX-driven randomly rotating featured image. - JavaScript calendar day selector with previous/next month and day indicators updated via AJAX (per month) to show number of events. - AJAX thumbnail hover shows event title/place name and author as applicable. - Screen resolution detection and CSS change for changing between two layout for screen less than or more than 1024 pixels wide. - Search view. Filters the database and displays matching content. (there are multiple cross-referenced tables) - Rich HTML editing for text areas. - Create a weighted tag-cloud view from tag table. - Add a 'groups' table with corresponding views to allow users to create new groups, browse groups and add existing content to groups (by creating references in the links table). - Plus a few other views and tweaks/optimisations but these can be paid via bonus or as agreed at the time. If you don't know what some of the terms I'm referring to are, you probably shouldn't be bidding! An expert guarantee would be beneficial. Design is not required, but obviously if you make these look nice so much the better! I will expect daily check-ins for reviewing progress via IM. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux, PHP 4.4.4; MySQL 4.1.11; FTP access, phpMyAdmin available. JavaScript functional for IE (5/6+) *and* Gecko (ideally also WebKit).
