AJAX/PHP/mySQL/RIA Google Maps: Content Creation/Mapping Application

[login to view URL] Software Specification 1 Overview [login to view URL] requires the ground-up development of a scalable and robust application to be utilized for the creation, distribution & archival of text, images, video, and GPS-generated track/waypoint files. This application will be allow users to upload their own content or use the application authoring tools to generate new textual content. All content will be geo-referenced and heavily described by metadata for the purpose of creating references to other content and an XML-interpreting mapping application such as Yahoo! Maps or Google Maps. Users will browse through available content using a powerful combination of the Mappica search tool and the mapping application. The map will reflect the location of the content and will display other “nearby?? content based on the user’s selection criteria. GENERAL: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
