hello,
I can do basic html coding for simple text and images page, but I am no means a programmer. I am posting this because I had a great Idea for a website that I want to follow through with but I don't have the expertise to code it. Essentially, I want a website similar to craigslist, yes there are many web software site replica packages out there, but I have a couple of differences that need to be met.
1. I don't want it localized like Craigslist (don't pick your city)
2. I want a short user sign up (email and password)
3. I want all javascript and other actions allowed so that users can insert there own checkout widget, buy it now buttons, etc.
4. I need some type of Ajax-y / GUI-y interface for users to make the code with ie: have "insert image, insert paypal button, etc."
I believe (though you would know better) that you can use much of the code from packages like fatfreecart and the clone templates in the site and the builder to boost the progress, in either case, if we could stick close to the price of some of these packages that would be nice. Look at the attached pic for a color scheme.
