CIVICRM CUSTOMIZATION AND INTEGRATION TO JOOMLA/DRUPAL

I am looking at customizing Civicrm to manage a member-based organizations. Membership • At sign up, members must choose Username and password. • Members must be able to register with the option to pay immediately or later after registration. • Provision must be provided for cash or cheque payments so that the Admin can update a members payment status after money is received. o If a member chooses the manual payment option(cheque, wire transfer or cash) the member’s payment status should state pending until after the Admin has entered the payment against the member o If online payment, the payment method should be selected. For now only integration to paypal will be done. • Once Payment is recorded against a member, the Payment status should automatically change. • Membership status must be automatic based on rules set by Admin. The status will be New, Current, Expired or Grace depending on rules set as defined in Civicrm. • Modifications to Membership Type o Membership in Civicrm is annual, life or time-based but I want it modified such that even if membership is lifetime, payment should reflect annually. Membership Expiration • Expired Members cannot blog or participate in forum • They can sign in but will only be able to make payment for dues or donate. Administrator • Can do all Civicrm assigned duties and functions Members Private Area/ Dashboard From own account area after login, members should be able to • Manage membership information • Upload or change pix • Change password etc • • See current payment status • Send private messages to other members • Do everything a member can do in Civicrm Events • Events created in Civicrm should be published to the site events section • Events should be public or private. If public, members of the public can also register and pay apart from members. But if private, it should be members only. For now, payments for events should be manual and through paypal. Membership Directory • Membership Directory will be created and must be searchable • A Membership Directory should be viewable by the public but certain information will be hidden such as Address, Phone Number etc. Communication • Members should be able to exchange private messages between each other. Currently not possible in Civicrm but is required now.
