Hi, I'm requiring some virtual assistance to get a connect to a remote mssql database from php on a centos 4.8 box. I've tried freetds (which I thought was working), then I tried installing unixODBC, then I tried installing mssql directly but I can't get anything to happen through php... Unfortunately this box isn't open to the world so this job will have to be through chat with you directing me. I would prefer this was done without recompiling php... At the moment all I'm receiving is error messages, eg: Call to undefined function odbc_connect() Call to undefined function mssql_connect() This connection to freetds: /usr/bin/tsql -S -U Does produce the expected 1> prompt though. I can also connect via isql, but not php. When I looked at phpinfo() I noticed something strange: --with-unixODBC=shared,/usr' as well as '--without-odbc''--without-unixODBC' All assistance must be provided via the command line. Thanks!
