This is a local request for the Los Angeles area. Face-to-face meetings with client are required. Client has constructed an elaborately linked set of highly complex rules. The logical interrelationships need to be captured in a set of diagrams for inclusion in a functional requirements document. This is a level beyond my technical competence, and I can't say what species of diagrams would serve this purpose best (DFDs? UML? Something else?), but the existing partial old-fashioned flowcharts seem like the wrong way to go. Client has expressed a preference for working face-to-face (she talks with her hands a lot). There may be, in addition to the needed diagrams, some written content; but if you're not a strong writer; that's okay. I'll clean up that part. This project is strictly for the functional spec and it is the abstract logic that needs to be represented, not the system architecture. The client is negotiating to sell the body of expert rules to an organization that will provide its own architecture and system design. This document is a deliverable required for the sale to go through. I'm looking for a pro with an understanding of expert systems and the capacity to deal with high complexity and a difficult client.

## Deliverables

Clearly presented diagrams of type to be discussed, suitable for including in or appending to a specification document. That is, the delivered diagrams must not require the installation of specialized software for reading them, and the provider must remain available for correcting typographical and other errors if specialized software is needed for editing them.

## Platform

Output should be in a vector format compatible with PowerPoint, Word, and Acrobat, as it will be presented in all three forms.
