I promote affiliate products and sometimes need to both put the affiliate cookie in my visitors' and prospects' browser while sending them to a page of my choice at the same time (either on merchand's website or mine). The link could be on a website **or** in an email message. A solution is using an iframe that is used to land the affiliate cookie, then redirecting user to the page I want. But when the merchand doesn't have implemented P3P on his website, the **affiliate cookie is rejected** by Internet Explorer and Safari 5 when default settings are used.
