Creation of a Business / Event Directory with SocialEngine

I would like to speak to an expert on SocialEngine to discuss possibilities on creating a Directory Site such as [login to view URL] with SocialEngine and plugins like [login to view URL] You must be able to have a landing / splash page with business listings, events, and the socialengine with a similar look to www.demodirectory.com. I would like to be able to have events setup like [login to view URL] where you can follow an event and event updates etc. show up on followers activity streams. This can be done with the built in events system modified or by developing an entire new plugin. Once the business listing is setup, members of the social network should be able to communicate directly with the business owner through the SocialEngine chat system. The bid price should be low and is just for consultancy and this will lead into a fulltime project involving the creation of the above mentioned site if competency and the ability to do this with SocialEngine can be demonstrated.
