Cookie based countdown and redirect script

I need a script for a html page that starts a countdown timer (custom value) when the page is visited the first time (set cookie). I also need a parameter to show the remaining time and the deadline date and day in different place on the site. Language settings must be customized (German and English). Every time the same user visits the site he only see the remaining time. After the countdown is over the sites needs to automatically redirect to a customer URL.
