Data Scraping, Extraction and Recording Software -- 2

Hi Shawn, Thanks for the invite. I believe we chatted about this project before. Here's what I picture: I make a GUI that has a file name input and a Scrape button. You navigate to the stub hub page like in your screenshot. Click the Scrape button and it cycles through all of the 'Zone' options and consolidates all of the ticket prices (active, sold, or both) and saves them into a CSV file that you can read in Excel. That will be the completion of this project. Maybe later on we add on the ability to point it to a page with a list of events and then automate the process of pretending to list the tickets to each event, and scraping the pricing info. Thanks for offering me your project. I have seen the screen shot but to make any judgment about any site I need to examine the HTML returned. My goal would be to use public domain Perl modules to emulate a browser accessing the site and then parse the HTML returned to extract data and then use other public domain modules to write Excel format files.
