Car Mileage Report

Need a Car Mileage? Report that is created in VB6. This will be my third attempt at getting a quality project complete. I? NEED to receive a functional APP that fits my requirements. I need e-mail updates and file examples every few days during this process to ensure I receive what I am looking for. This will be my third attempt at getting a quality project complete. I hoping to receive a functional APP that fits my needs. So I will need to work with someone who is willing to make changes as we go along and until the project is complete. Using VB6 and Microsoft access database or similar. At the end of the month the database needs to be converted to an excel file using the requirements below. the Mileage tracker should: ? - Calulate personal, commute, business and total miles. - Work with Microsoft 2003 or later for access and excel Entries Fields are: DATE LOCATION (field that auto completes from database form 2, see below) PURPOSE (field that auto completes either business, personal or commute) START ODOMETER END ODOMETER - Visible with a datagrid or something similiar. Once an entry has been made using the same entry fields as mentioned above. Also visible is a TOTAL Mileage box as entries are made ------------------------------------- EX.? Total Miles - 500 Business Miles - 300 Personal Miles - 100 Commute Miles - 100 ------------------------------------- - I would like the "start" location and "purpose" fields set as auto complete (when a user starts to type into that field, it completes the entry) - Once an entry is added to the database the end odometer is auto-entered in the start odometer field, the purpose and date field is maintained until a manual change is made and the location and end odometer fields reset. - I make entries all month long so it will need to maintain its current state if the application is shut down and re-opened. - Any edits within the mileage tracker database should update the business, personal, commute and total miles. - I need the database to be converted to an excel file at the end of the month.? - A button to COMPLETELY reset the database so the next months data can be entered. - The 2nd form stores my customer database file where I can add, delete or edit customer entries. this should also be displayed in a datagrid or similiar. Only one Textbox is needed to hold customer name, address and zip. - On the 2nd form I need textboxes for? - Name, Team #, month and employee # fields that will be saved.? ********************************************************************************************************* - The excel file must use the same layout as the datagrid. Added to the excel output on the top along with the Mileage, business, personal, commute and total are Name, Team #, month and employee # fields --------------------------------------------- EX.?
