Copy File Function (written in VB6.0)

I need a function written in VB 6.0 to copy folders/files from one location to another. The function will take four parameters: source folder path destination folder path overwrite? optional delete source folder (i.e. a "move" function) The function should do all these things: (1) create a destination folder, if it does not exist (2) check the remaining disk space and calculate if enough room exists to copy all file(s) to new location. If not display a message indicating the problem and how much space needed. (3) track and verify that each file is copied accurately (if the application crashes mid-transfer, some means to figure out which files still remain to be copied and to resume the copy where left off) (4) an ability to cancel/pause the copy action, especially with large files (up to 1GB). (5) lock source files so they cannot be opened during the copy process (especially database type files). This can be done by renaming the extension of the file to something else during the copy period. (6) progress bar should accurately show the status of the folder transfer process (i.e. total percent done of entire folder's MB size). No need to list individual files. (7) trap and display all common errors that could occur (file in use, drive not available, out of HD space) The function must work under WinXP and Vista. I prefer avoiding the fso method; you will probably have to do low-level methods to pause/resume transfers. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform VB 6.0
