Desktop Downloader and info center - Please read

I own a website from which members search for and download files. I am looking to create a program which can be downloaded, password protected, and very easy to use. The basic function of this program would be to represent the website but in an easy to use touch of a button operation. Instead of members having to look threw the website for a certain type of file, they can just click on the file type in the desktop program and all available downloads are listed so they can just instantly click and download. This program will also need to have a small news section and advertising spots. I am looking for an MSN or Yahoo type look, where it's very user friendly, small and compact and can be accessed after installing by just clicking the button. There will be hundreds of thousands of potential users for this program so it along with the web application which will have to be created in order to keep this program upto date will have to be able to handle many inquiry's. This is a very important project and I would like to get it finished ASAP ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I would suggest this be able to work on all windows formats. Mac users will have to suffer.
