Auto provisioning Platform for VOIP SIP Endpoints

Auto Provisioning (AP) service allows us to automatically configure a SIP device (a VOIP adaptor or an IP phone) without having to set up the configuration, which usually involves entering data in the configuration page of the device. By using an AP In order to set a SIP device, configuration will be minimum to only a few steps, connect the sip device to the internet, enter the MAC address of the sip device (this is printed physically on the label that is usually located on the bottom of the device) and select the device type in the auto provisioning server. The AP server must be able to be in compliance with the following SIP device: • Polycom IP Phones (Text files) • Snom IP Phones (XML files) • Aastra IP Phones (Text files) • Broadcom Based IP Phones (Text files) • Linksys and Grandstream IP Phones & ATA The scope of work is to plan, deploy, test, and customize an Auto Provisioning platform to be able to be used by the above SIP devices. In addition, documentation of the final product, training and 30 days maintenance with an option of monthly maintenance fee must be considered when providing your proposed solution and price. Server platform and network will be provided. However, it is highly required that the bidder has strong network security experience to be able to secure the server and services as part of scope of the project. (this what there will be no more option 66 or 67) Our expectation as an scope of work: 1- build the server according to your spec 2- secure the server with tools provided by 1and [login to view URL] and additional settings and software on the server 3- install the auto provisioning system to enable auto provisioning for a- snom IP phones (XML) 1- software upgrade 2- global settings 3- phone specific settings 4 - Directory b- Polycom IP phones (XML) 1- software upgrade 2- global settings 3- phone specific settings 4 - Directory c- Broadcom IP phones (text) 1- phone specific settings 2 - Directory (if possible) 4- provide an easy to use interface to be able to use the system 5- test and documentation 6- provide advice and best practices guidance during the project. 7- provide a minimum 90 days tech support after the deployment The phase one of this project is to be able to manage Auto P. for about 1000 IP node. The phase 2 will be to expand the system to be able to take care of Aastra, Linksys and other IP phones.
