Business Directory

I am in the process of launching a business directory web site and I have designed the front end. But I need help with the backend functionality. The web site will be data base driven with users being able to search the site for businesses and services (locally based). They should be able to search in using an A -Z directory, as well as a search the whole site function and a drop down menu function. The drop down menu shpould allow a listing of all services and business types to be displayed the user would then select the appropriate service or business type and drill down further to reach the individual business service provider. Another search method to be incorporated is the ability to search using a double entry i.e. search for plumber(provider) in chester(town) etc. The site also has an events listing, jobs listing, property for rent listing and special offers listing sections. These sections should have a search function also but maybe not in the same depth as the business section. Details of a mockup site and further details can be forwarded for the back end functions to be added by sucessful bidder. Regards ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The programs have to run in all browsers and be easy for me to set up and operate through a hosting company Content Mangement System.
