Hello sir, i have read the project details and understood the requirement. i have 17 years of experience in Design and Manufacturing. My expertise is -Product design -Plastic mold design -Stamping die design -3d printing -CNC programming i worked on aluminium, sheet metal, plastic Acrylic and other engineering plastics. i have strong skill in Solid works, please have a look and let me know the if any. please send me the details. Hi there, First at all (indeed) you have to get rid of almost all metalic parts and replace where necessary with proper materials (al, carbon fiber, rubber, etc). The most important is to keept the core(main longeron) low weight (like an profiled Aluminum tube) which to give it resistance and lower torsional shiftness, on which to come up with other elements. Second - you have to lower the weight of the transmission - use synchronius belt and pulleys, or change to cardanic transmission, where the shaft to be made from carbon fiber(it's easy to find such thing and cut it to dimension). For a better stability in curves, you have to modifay the angle of the wheels, and most likely to have a new kind of joint - see the wheels on Mercedes. These are few (free) advices. More, if I'll win the bid. Anyway, meanwhile you may send me some drawings and I could take a look.

Hi, I'm a mechanical engineer, I love motorsports and everything when it comes down to go faster :) I've been working in a GP2 team modelling the dynamic behaviour of the car and now I'm in contact with an F1 team for some kind of vehicle dynamics job. Looking at some designs of your vehicle I can tell you that studying properly the sitting position you can optimize both the aerodynamics and the dynamic behaviour of the vehicle during cornering changing the position of its centre of gravity. Another element I would play on would be the diameters of the tyres and their distance. Let me know if these ideas sound good to you! I coul make an in depth dynamic behaviour analysis. Francesco
