when you get this error it's because Heroku is missing some key file that it uses to identify your app (and its type). Gemfile may be missed in the app directory. There are few more reasons can cause this issue. If I get more information, I can help you. I ahve couple of my rails applicaton deployed in heroku. Thanks

i have got 2.5 years experience that makes good enough to deploy on heroku. The experience that i have gained from deploying apps on webservers like nginx,apache gives a good knowledge on how web servers work

Been working on Heroku lately and my guess is probably a wrongly named file. Heroku is pretty strict about the name of some files

1 day to do it. It should be an easy fix. I don't want a lot of money. I have managed to get around the same error before a couple of times.

Hi, Heroku recently phased out their old application stack, in the process of doing this the also stopped supporting older versions of ruby, and ruby on rails, that have poor performance and security issues. This happens very frequently on the online world. I cannot effectively quote the job as I haven't seen your codebase, but there is a chance that the work might be massive. I did the same job for someone a while ago, and they said it was "an easy fix", and it turned out that it was a week's worth of work and I had to cancel the job and I received a negative review for it.... If you could send through a link to the codebase I will confirm whether your application can easily be converted to support the new application stack or whether it will need significant work.
