Develop a basic Accounting Application

Looking to develop a tiresome spreadsheet into a more advanced standalone application, with more flexibility and ease of use. THE PROBLEM: The Spreadsheet is used to track sports betting activity. Each time a new bet is placed, data is recorded via manual input (for instance, bet amount, odds, name of bookmaker) and also a number of data is generated and then displayed (for example, estimate odds of winning, bookmaker commission etc.) What I need improving is the speed it takes to input and output all of this data, and make it easier to read. Currently data is added manually via inserting new rows and then re-formatting the visuals etc. with is very tedious. THE SOLUTION: I'd like to develop a simple program for windows (and ideally mac friendly too, if possible) that allows me to enter some simple data via a pop-up box, and then once the user presses the 'add' button, the data is added/saved and then displayed in a more orderly manor. The formulas and maths involved are fairly simple and my spreadsheet probably contains most of the work already, the only thing it lacks is a quick-add box to enter data. PAYMENT: I am a trusted member of freelancer and payment will be done with a half-way milestone, and the rest upon completion. There is a good chance I will need to develop this application further in the near future too, so there is opportunity for future work on this also. SUMMARY: I need an application I can run from my desktop that will display my accounts. It needs to include variables of Bets, Bookmakers, Accounts, and track the money moving between all 3. All the work is virtually done in my current spreadsheet, you merely need to turn it into a stand-alone program so that it will operate outside of Excel
