Hi developer, we need a program (any language but it has to be installed on any windows computer)
This program is a RANDOM generator of numbers which include those demands:
1. It will ask the prefix of the numbers lists (for example 08 or 05 or 03 or 034 or 06 or 7 or whatever)
2. It will ask the number of number after the previous prefix (for example 8, 7, 6 or etc …)
3. It will ask the numbers that should be generated on one list, for example 20000, 30000, 256000 or one millions, 2 million etc …
4. It will ask if we need a UNIQUE PREFIX in the second column (see below)
5. It will ask how many lists needed and what the name should the list have (example the name is “sample”, so the program will create sample1, sample2 etc …)
6. It will generate the list in the format Microsoft Excel, XLS (it has to be compatible with last office version)
7. The list will be generated RANDOMLY in the first column in the CHOSSEN FOLDER (!)
PS indeed each list of this folder has to be UNIQUE so whatever the number of list the program should look in the target folder to see if any number was not already generated (if this is the case it won’t create any doubloon in the list AND in the folder..) This option is very important so any other idea to make it works is welcome!
This program has to be fast and has to works in any past generation of computer (for example Pentium 4 or whatever)
SO, light, fast, performing and intelligent
It has to be send to us as exclusivity and not sold or send for free over the internet
Please see folder attached with:
A list which starts with prefixes “6” (see the previous point 1)
A list with have 8 numbers after the prefixes (see the previous point 2)
A list with 30 numbers of numbers (see the previous point 3), 30 as it is an example it is usually 50000 or MANY MORE ..
A list with a UNIQUE PREFIX “33” in the second column ( but it is only an option if we type “none” on the program it would create this “second column”
A list in XLS
And at last a totally RANDOM list
The next list will NEVER use the same number if the target folder is the same as the previous list (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)

I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the lauguage is c++ under linux os. So, programming in c++ is never a problem. hi, your task is very easy, i will do that task in python because it can run of your pc easily and i have already done random number generation and excel file generation on it in my computer networks project so it is cool. you just need to install 35mb python installer from python official website and code will run flawlessly. even on pentium 3. so if you need my help then contact me. i will work in much less money. your project budget doesn't allow me to bid low.

I can write this random number generator program for you. It's quite similar to the other project you posted and I applied to.
I'm actually applying to this project for 2 reasons:
1) So I can message you. You've been messaging me, but I can't message you because you accepted someone else on the previous project.
2) So that I can do this project for you.
I do have 1 question about this project: when you say that each list in a folder needs to be unique, can you clarify what you mean? Do you mean that individual numbers from each list cannot be repeated, or do you mean that complete lists cannot be identical? If you mean the second option, then are 2 lists with the same numbers in a different order considered identical?
As for how I will write the program, I will use Java. Normally that would require Java to be installed, but I can package Java with my program so it can run from an EXE. I assume you would want me to do that since you said it has to run on any Windows computer.
To save the Excel file, I will use the Apache POI library for Java. I have used it many times before and am quite familiar with it.

May I suggest Java for this project?
It will have all the necessary stuff u demanded it. I can probably finish it in less than 5 days.
It will have simple user interface, where u can set prefix, random numbers size, list sizes, pick folder, second prefix, etc.
I can develop this in Visual C++ and then it can run on any windows platform you need. I have more then 9 years of diverse experience in software development with a focus on client satisfaction.

I am proposing an Excel addin solution (VSTO com addin to be precise). This solution will integrate automatically within Excel once its installed (Installation will require just a few clicks). I will program this application to have an intuitive GUI with an impressive look and feel. The program itself will merge with Excel and therefore you do not have to run it explicitly. It will work on any windows computer having Win xp and above (32 or 64 bit).

It is a very difficult problem to generate a huge amount of random numbers without repeating them (both from memory and execution time aspects) but I think that a Linear feedback shift register can solve your problem. If you are interested in my offer, please contact me for further discussions.
