Hello,
I worked as an embedded software test engineer (with expertise in J1939 protocol) for 7 years, programming mainly in C, but I did some Python work to interface with ControlDesk/dSpace Platform in a hardware-in-the-loop environment.
I recently got laid off due to a corporate downsize and now am attempting to make a living remotely as a "freelance" developer. Since that time I have been focused almost entirely on Python (since it seems the best combination of speed and elegance) and recently started learning Django as well.
In my previous job, I also acquired extensive experience working with Git version control and Bash Shell scripting.
I have experience with a variety of web technologies as well including the LAMPP stack and Drupal. In my previous job , I also developed some REST API applications for managing team workflow/integration with the Target Process tool.
I am fully equipped to do remote work (I worked remotely in my previous job for 2+ years before being laid off) and am ready to dive into something full time if possible.
Regards,
Erik
