I have previously built a "cloud procurement and automation" platform that is a based on open source technologies (tomcat, activemq, spring, aws and/or vmware, postgresql, etc.). The platform allows for the definition of "templates" that consist of "machine images" and "application images" that are used to construct templates. The templates are used to launch "instances". The platform is a multipart system that encompasses template definition, a template catalog, template management, instance launch, instance status, instance cost and other features to manage the lifecycle of systems. The entire IaaS stack (networking, compute resources, storage, etc.) is incorporated into the platform and managed through a web UI. I can create a similar platform based on the exact use cases for this circumstance. I am new to freelancer yet I have almost 20 years of both software and infrastructure architecture and development experience. I practice a basic agile lifecycle and use standard tools such as git, issue tracking (jira), test driven development (junit, selenium), CI (jenkins).
