Hello, I have more than 30 years of experiencie as system and database administrator. I have installed and configured multiple ESXI environments, and attach NAS of different makers (HP, IBM, Lenovo, etc), in NFS and iSCSI
The plan is easy. I suppose you have already intstalled the ESXI server:
- Configure the NAS to create NFS storage. You must indicate the size you want and the partitions you need
- Configure the ESXI server (from the web client or from Vcenter if you have) to attach the NAS storage as a datastore (or several, if you need)
- Test that work fine, for example create some VM using the datastore
Thanks
