The main experience I have was doing a several week project making transcripts of interactions between parents and children. I was working for a university professor on his research project. Aiming for a 4:1 ratio (hours to audio hours), I'd quote 30 GBP per audio hour. I'd prefer that we do one or two hours to start so that you can check my work and so that I can see how long it's taking me. I can get that back to you in a day or two. I am currently taking break from full time job and have been doing Transcription jobs. As required, I am also based in UK, so time difference issues can be averted. I have recently done a transcription of a school based research, including researcher and boys and girls. If the audio quality will be good, the turn around time can be shorter even for 60 minute audio files.
