I will provide:
1. MYSQL script to build small sample database
You will provide application with these features/properties:
1. VB.net application using mdi parent form.
2. Simple menu, 1 item. exit
3. When minimized, minimize to system tray.
4. constant inquiry of database to check for 'new' items.
5. system tray icon hover, presents count of 'new' items, clickable to restore application
6. when new item is added to db, beep and small alert pops up (like outlook) to show field from database, clickable to restore application.
7. right click on system tray, refresh items, exit, restore
8. source code and icons/media used in application
freedom to invent method for triggering new item detection... timed execution of stored procedure, etc.
