i have a phone adapter, a D-link VTA phone adapter. i am using a voip service of china. now i am located in Shanghai. When i make a local call to other phone in shanghai, i dont want to put the area code(021). Because now i still need to dial 021 first. i know that there is something in the digit map that need to be changed. Pls see the attached for the current setting of my phone adapter. again the country code of china is +86 and the area code of shanghai is 021, hope this can help. i will give 30 usd for this work, its quite easy work. i think people in american can do it. current digit map: *xx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxxx|1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx|911|0xx.T interested party have to submit the correct digit map to me to test first. when it work i will pay it. waiting for it.

This should be fairly straightforward, but completely depends on your exact setup. I would nee to take a quick look at your full configuration. Your digitmap alone will not allow you to do what you are asking. The digitmap is just to define what number patterns you can dial, with or without a timeout. Your VoIP service is likely based outside Shanghai, which is why you need to dial the area code when calling local Shanhai numbers. What you are asking is often refereed to as a digit translation. For example, you want to dial 53524999 number in Shanghai, the system will need to translate this to 02153524999. We will need to add this digit translation in your system somewhere. If your VoIP service is actually based out of Shanghai, you can give this digitmap a try: *xx|[2-9]xxxxxxx|1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx|911|0xx.T That digitmap is a modification of yours that would allow you to dial any 8 digit number that began 2 or higher.
