Hi, I have successfully scraped millions of records from hundreds of websites. I have completed some of these projects here on freelancer.com, I suggest you check my reviews. For your projects since it's mimicking what a user would make manually and to make sure websites do not identify your requests as scraping I would recommend the use of a free tool called iMacros for Firefox. I have a lot of experience with iMacros and I have used it for sites such as Amazon and Google which are known for identifying scrapers and throttling. With iMacros and the javascript scripting interface will be able to replicate your manual workflow and in particular check tripadvisor, gather the results, query the partner sites and compare the results. As you probably know scraping is site specific so a list of partners will have to be provided and agreed upon (I cannot promise to deliver "all" partners without defining a list). I would be interested in knowing which partners you are actually most interested in. Also if you have any document describing the workflow, that would be useful.
