build a dating website

Hi there In the simplest terms we are looking to create a stripped down dating website. The project should be pretty simple. Unlike traditional dating sites, we don't need complex profiles, we don't need matching capabilities and we arent looking to be the same as say match.com. We want all the focus to just be on the dating itself. Therefore, each user needs only a username and a photo of themselves (or multiple) along with a very short bio (think twitter style). We will however need to know the location for each individual, who they are looking for (man? woman? dont mind?) and where they are looking to meet someone (in their town, city, county, up to 100 miles away etc etc). We would love to see the option of signing up via facebook! As much social media integration as possible would be ideal. Once signed up the user has access to the dating stream. Think of this like a facebook newsfeed of all the people signed up within the users defined area. Each user can suggest a date via a text box above the stream. For example "Grab fish and chips and a bottle of wine and go sit under London bridge". This will then go into the stream, along with the users profile pic, to be updated in real time. If a user sees a date they like, they can click a button under the date entitled "I like this!" All users should be able to see on the stream how many people have liked each date. Once this has happened, the user who posted the date will get a notification informing him/her that someone likes their idea and is interesting on learning more about them. The user will then have the option of contacting those who liked their date idea. This is when payment will be required. We envision only asking users to pay once we have shown that people are interested in their dating idea. Payment should be staggered to basic (able to direct message with up to 5 people) advanced (to 10 people) and premium (unlimited). This period lasts for one month, after which payment will be required again should the user wish to continue using the site. This will help reduce the level of mistrust associated with dating websites as we only request payment once someone is interested, so its low risk for the user. In a nutshell - that's it. We don't need any other function other than a search function to find dates, people etc, and a CMS so we can update the site and include advertising options. We would like to keep this as cheap as possible as it is for a graduate project. In terms of design, we are thinking very minimalist and bright - a happy place for people to meet like minded people. We will need a logo, and we would like the colour scheme to centre around blue and white. Thank you, I look forward to bearing from you.
