Custom customer/employee scheduling database integrated with Magento

The Magento ecommerce site is a simple website with only about 10 selectable products and will behave pretty much like a canned webstore. You will not need to do much work on the design aspect. We require your expertise on the backend to link the available scheduling times at checkout to a scheduling database.
The scheduling database will need two functions, customer and employee scheduling. This is for a service company. A customer will visit the site and select a service (product) and time for their service (selected product has a time metric of something like 2, 4, 6, 8 hours) and then pay via CC. The schedule times available for customer selection must sync with the employee scheduling database to verify that the time is available.
The employee scheduling database works for part-time employees. Most are students and not always available. The employee logs in and selects the times they are available to work. Once selected, this time is available for the customers to select.
Once a job is scheduled, a confirmation email should be sent (To customer and employee(s), a reminder email should be sent the day prior (To customer and employee), and a customer satisfaction email the day after the service.(To customer) so that we can rate the employee performance.
Lastly, designs must be simple to allow language translations as this website needs to be in both English and Traditional Chinese. (We will provide translations)
