Controller for charging a laptop battery

Every time you plug your laptop to a power output the battery will start charging and want stop until 100% is reached. Doing this frequently will reduce the battery lifetime.

The software I want is to set a upper and lower limit (in %) when the battery will stop charging and start charging respectively. The variability in the software will be changing the two limits and also have them as an optional choice.

Example given with the upper limit set to 80% and lower limit set to 50%. When the battery is charging and the upper limit is reached the battery will stop charging at 80%. The battery will then not start charging again until the battery level is below 50%.
