Desktop Upload Tool

For our online image-gallery service we need a desktop upload tool which communicates with our website and is able to transfer files and complete folders to the server. The tool should work on Windows (>= Win2K) and Mac plattforms. ## Deliverables For our online image-gallery service we need a desktop upload tool which communicates with our website and is able to transfer files and complete folders to the server. The tool should work on Windows (>= Win2K) and Mac plattforms. The software should work like this: * User has to install the software on his own computer (Win/Mac) * Software connects to our website for a login with the users username/password * username/password should be saved while installing (?) * Software receives a list of the users galleries if they are available (pls specify list-format: INI/CSV/TXT/XML ...?), if there is no gallery available, no upload can be done * User chooses a gallery and files or a folder on his computer for an upload (JPEG only allowed) * File transfer to a defined target on our server * Max transfersize appr. 50 - 200 MB (sum of all single files) * After complete transfer of EACH FILE the software should send to a serverside script (POST/GET): * filename * filesize * username/password * hashkey
