I have a master's degree in aerospace engineering, and I have worked in the aircraft design office in the past 10 years. I have been involved of aircraft performance analysis in the design process. I have calculated the aircraft range and endurance in different flight phases including warm-up, take-off, climb, cruise, descent, holding, landing, and shut-down. Also, emergency flight phases including diversion to an alternative airport can be considered. To this aim, spreadsheet formulation or MATLAB code can be used. The engine fuel consumption, aircraft aerodynamic characteristics, and weight would be considered in the simulation. I am pretty familiar with the Burguet range and endurance equation, in addition to other formulations for the climb, descent, take-off, and landing.
