An Android Root with a special Custom ROM.

Here's the overall concept. Get a cheap $50 tablet (new). The ones I'm looking at would be better than the PS Vita in specs. More ram, better/longer battery life, bigger display and more "user friendly". Now, I'm a good developer however I'm NOT a programmer. With that being said, I'd gut out the ENTIRE ANDROID system which is legal because android is an open source code. Changes would include having my own set of default apps, a custom start up screen (like when you turn on a PlayStation). The tablet console would have a built in HDMI port so you can plug it into your tv and with the use of tablet controllers (made by other companies) you can use a controller via bluetooth (sold separately) once I do all of that...the tablet console is complete. Now it has a micro SD card slot and that will be the programmers job to make use of it. My programmers would develop a game (Pong is the focus just to see if we can do it). The game will be loaded and locked to a SD Card like a game boy cartridge. The game itself will also have a built in memory card. The idea is to insert the game into the SD slot and it'll load up. (Think of this as your PlayStation loading a disc).Once it's loaded, it'll show on the notification bar and then you open your app draw and there's your game...ready to play. I think the development stuff will work 100%. It also has a front and back camera built in. Here's a life of the Defaults apps (and I'm still working on this list) Chromecast (Streaming apps such as Netflix, Pandora, etc to your tv with your Google Dongle) Weather Widget (not app) Ubuntu One (Cloud Storage) Skype (Making use of both cameras) Netflix (Make use of the tablet side) Photo Galley Camera Video Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube Internet And that's all for now. Subjected to change. I'm doing things based off what great handhelds need and based off specs. Like if there's a camera you probably wanna Skype and take pics. Pandora enables you to listen to music while playing. Social media is a must have as well as internet...etc. it's Basic but necessary. Without it people are gonna be like "well wtf is the point". Now it's not a home system and it's not a handheld system it's a tablet console so I might have to add additional apps. However, it's designed for gaming so it won't have home office and stuff like word or excel. Now, there are some things that i haven't consider such as a console name and that's simply because I want a TEAM and once I have that then together a name could be formed.
