We are a UK company that produces content for marketing agencies in the UK and US. We work from a virtual office where editors can pick up work and edit on their own schedule. Work is taken and completed in work sessions, and there is always work available. This work would suit someone who is looking for a few hours work in the evening, or when kids are at school. The key point about the role is convenience and flexibility. We are looking for editors to improve the flow and grammar of our content. The job also involves sanity checking the work too, to ensure that silly content doesn't get through to clients. This work suits short bursts of work of around 2 hours. In a typical week you would be required to edit around 30K Words and in a month around 120 to 150K Words. You must have perfect grammar and a good understanding of a wide range of subjects. The pay rate we are looking to pay is around $9 per hour. We expect you to work hard for the hours you work and to deliver high volumes of exceptionally edited work. We need someone who can read fast, pick up unnatural language and content errors, and be the final line before content goes on to clients. You may need to rewrite bits or remove small sections.
