Android Developer, core software Are you a passionate Android Developer with solid experience from core software development and embedded systems, looking for a new and interesting project? Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems telecommunication, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden. As an Android Developer within core software at one of the major telecom companies in Sweden, you will be part of an innovative team with colleagues in Sweden, China and Japan. Good English is essential. This is a highly experienced team working with planning, design, implementation and verification of software components that will be used in future mobile devices. The team is also responsible for support and maintenance of existing software. You are a passionate and innovative embedded software developer with experience in Android Services, Android Frameworks Base, Linux, platform development, device drivers, kernel and debugging. Requested competence (please make sure this is documented in your CV) BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience Professional or documented C programming skills Professional or documented Java programming skills Experience in Android Frameworks Base and/or Android Services Experience in platform development and debugging Good communication skills and a team player Innovative, enthusiastic and self-driven problem solver and eager to learn Good English, spoken and written Differentiators (please mention if applicable) Android platform knowledge Experience in working with Linux kernel bring-up Experience in working with Lauterbach Assembler Agile development Start: within 2-6 weeks, or when your current contract allows. Duration: 12-24 months in site in Sweden, with a high probability for extensions. Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer. Compensation: Negotiable.
