I have a need for a simple Windows graphic editor application Programmed using C or C++. MFC/ATL is okay. No GPL code nor .net, nor 3rd party modules. All source. Features: Windows application that can copy/paste, save/load graphic. Export graphic to at least standard BMP format (png, gif, jpeg okay too). Line thickness selection. Color selection. Fill/unfilled shapes. Line/Ellipse/Circle/Rectangle/Square/Arrows/Call-outs with text/Text/Font/Fill. Highlight option (color and opacity configurable) Magnify. Undo/Redo Brush/Pen thickness. Selection areas. Blur area. Rotation. Cropping. Rotation, Cropping, Moving, Resizing should work similar to most graphic programs, such as MS Publisher where it's done within the drawing using anchors. Ability to select objects in the main drawing (circle, callout, square, selections, etc..) to move, resize, rotate, crop, etc.. standard cut/copy/paste across apps. print Designed to be easy to use by basic user. Main usage is pasting or loading graphic and adding markup to it. Encapsulated or OLE friendly so can be used within various applications that need support easily. Should comment code well. Sample of how to call up / use in basic Widows application (ole or self contained class). We can't test .exe without source. For testing during development, video / graphics okay. Source needed for testing locally.

Hi, I can make your project using MFC, I suggest using GDI+ to draw graphic primitives, it is part of the operating system starting with WindowsXP. GDI+ is a more powerful technique in comparison with the win32 api functions and the MFC classes based on them. I have extensive experience using these libraries. Best regards, Alexei

Hello there, I'ma Visual C++ Engineer with a very very extensive professional R&D background going back decades; was head-hunted by Microsoft and other large companies many times; and have worked with Windows, since it's inception in the early 90s. I specialise in C++ and Visual C++ , including the Win32 API, WIndows SDKs, MFC and also would suggest the use of OpenGL, which is incorporated in to the Windows SDKs, in recent versions of WIndows and Visual Studio. OPenGL provides useful functions for image processing and related commonly-used algorithms/functionalities. Nevertheless, the functional requirements for this software would , usually, make it a 2-3 month contract, working 9-5 on-site, in the UK.
