We are looking to add a backend developer to our small development team for a growing SAAS application. Applicant must have expert level skills in: C# .Net Framework Web API Entity Framework *Please note: we are only interested in working with individuals. Sorry to all agencies/teams. Experience in public API design: Initial project will be to design and develop a public api for syncing files from the service, as well as building sync implementations for several popular platforms (windows, osx, SharePoint...). Although we are currently seeking a back-end developer, preference will be given to candidates who have full stack skills so they can help with the frontend if needed (front end is an SPA - currently knockout.js, but will likely be rebuilt in the near future). Developer will be expected to provide all of their own tools. Along with Windows and Visual Studio, the successful candidate should have access to a mac and IPad as we have both Electron (OSX) and Cordova (IOS) builds of our project. Most of the communication between our development team happens via Skype. Excellent english skills are required. This is a long term position, requiring full time hours. The expectation is 6+ hours per day, Mon-Fri. Pay is hourly. Our standard hours are 9am-5pm EST (Toronto) M-F. The successful candidate must be working and available for a minimum of 2 hours during that time period each day. Preference will be given to candidates who can work during that time period, to make for easier communication between the development team. Please include your github profile url in your submission.
