i would like a desktop application for windows o/s, that collects information about every printing job, at any connected printer to that computer or network (preferred).
Administrator should have the ability to define prices for every printer, depending on
1) color mode of printing job
2) paper size
3) dublex mode
That means that printer 1 may have 0.1$ per black page etc, and printer 2 0.2$ per black page.
All printing information could be taken through the spooller of the computer.
Then at any time, administrator should be able to open a "log file" containing all needed information about printing jobs like:
Printer, Date, Time, file name, printed pages total, printed pages black, printed pages color, total number of paper used, price depending on counters.
